Hello, I’d like to be your personal jeweler!

I began creating custom order jewelry in 1968, while attending Ohio State University. Since that time I’ve been perfecting my skills and have created many different styles of jewelry. My own designs tend towards leaves, vines and flowers.

I am a G.G. (Graduate Gemologist) of the Gemological Institute of America, trained and tested. I’ve been made keenly aware of the beauty and rarity of gems from all over the world. I truly enjoy creating wonderful jewelry that others can enjoy every day or give as gifts to ones they love.

For years my business was known as Golden Touch Jewelers. In the year 2000 I renamed it Artistic Jeweler as more indicative of my work..

As member of Polygon, I am linked to gem dealers around the world to bring you the types, shapes and sizes of the gems you desire. With a fully equipped gemological laboratory on the premises we can verify the identity of the gems we sell or appraise.

Mail to me your ideas, dreams and drawings at our store in Coos Bay, Oregon. (Same location for 27 years.) Estimates are free if you come to the store. Written estimates are $15 for those persons out of town, in advance, but deductible from the finished price. We will return any deposit if we feel we are unable to do what you want.

If a wax model is needed for your order, it is shown to you first for your approval so that you will know what to expect and will be pleased with the finished item.

We do remounts; that is, we reset your gems into new settings and have hundredsof styles from which to choose.

Custom orders can be created in 10k, 14k or 18k gold with choices of yellow, white, green and/or rose colored gold.
