Golden Touch Jewelers was founded in 1974, and has had as many as ten artisans on its staff. Douglas B. Hanan's art and gemological training started at Ohio State University, and continued at Oregon State University. He received his bachelor's degree in Geology in 1973. Since then he has become a Graduate Gemologist (G.G.) of the Gemological Institute of America and a Senior Member (N.G.J.A.) of the National Association of Jewelry Appraisers.

The business and retail store have been in the same location for 27 years and comprise several branches. One branch offers jewelry appraisals both Federal and private. There is a fully equipped gemological laboratory and trained staff for gem identification. We do expert repair work on both Modern and Period pieces, as well as remounting estate gems into new settings, all on the premises.

We offer Litigation Support and Expert Witness services.

The major part of our business is creating "One-of-a-Kind" jewelry pieces that are uniquely
beautiful as well as being meaningful to our clients.
